We offer a daily Breakfast Club funded by the Welsh Government’s Free Breakfast Initiative. We provide free child care and breakfast for children whose parents have to leave for work early and for those children who arrive on school transport before 8.30am.
The Breakfast Club is open to all children in our school and runs from 8am-8.30am every day. The children are fully supervised throughout the club and have a wonderful time spending time with their friends before school starts.
A typical breakfast will be cereal (not sugar coated) with milk, fruit juice and toast. You need to be registered to take advantage of the Breakfast Club. Registration forms are available at the club which is held in the school hall so you can simply turn up and register your child if you have not already done so. Otherwise forms are available to download from the website or from the school office.
Our After School Club is very successful, well attended and open to all the pupils at our school. It runs from 3.30pm to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday. The children are fully supervised. They are provided with snacks e.g. sandwiches; fruit, drinks etc. and a range of interesting and enjoyable activities are arranged for them.
The After School Club is priced at £7.00 per day. There is also a Half Club that runs until 4.30pm and costs £4.00 per day.
There is no After School Club on a Friday. When the asymmetric week was introduced, the After School Club on Fridays was replaced by a ‘Friday Afternoon Enrichment Club’.
There is no charge for this child care and runs until 3pm every Friday.
Templeton School runs an ‘Asymmetric School’ week.

We have a very active school fundraising charity called ‘Friends of Templeton School’ (FoTS).
